There are several ways to find the titles you are looking for: · Choose one of the titles presented on our home page or featured products page
· Search from a category of interest - Self-Improvement, Health & Fitness, Personal Finance, Dimwit's Guide To..., or Free Books - from our categories list on the top left hand corner of each page.
· Search by title using the search box in the top right hand corner of each page.
How
do I make a purchase?
1. Once you find a title you like, click on “Add to Shopping Cart”. The title will be added to your shopping cart.
2. You can add more titles by clicking “Continue Shopping” or
3. To complete your purchase, click “Checkout”.
4. After clicking "Checkout," you will be taken to the registration page. If you are a new customer, you have the option of signing up for an account by clicking “New Customer,” or you can skip the sign-up process and simply checkout by clicking “Checkout Without Registering.” If you currently have an account, simply enter your Username and Password and click “Login”.
5. You will then be asked to enter your billing details and payment information. Please ensure you fill in all fields correctly. Review your order and click “Process Order”. That’s it. You
are ready to download your eBook(s). Once
the order is complete, you will be directed to your own personal download area
where you can download your purchase.
You
will also receive a link to the personal download area via email. This way, if something happens where you get disconnected, you can return to the download area by opening up your email and clicking on the link.
How do
I save an item that I am not ready to purchase, but would like to review later?
You can store products you are not ready to purchase in your wish list by
clicking on “Add to Wish List.” You can
come back anytime to view the items in your wish list by clicking on “Wish List”
on the top right corner of the homepage.
Once you are ready to purchase, simply click
on “Add to Shopping Cart”, or if you decide you don’t want the item, click on “Remove
from Wish List.”
How
do I remove an item from a shopping cart?
Click on the “Shopping Cart” link on the top of the homepage
or on the “View Cart” link in the shopping cart summary to the right. This will display all the titles you have
added to your cart. Next to each title,
there is a link labeled “Remove”. Click on
“Remove” for each title you want to remove from your cart.
I have added an item to my shopping cart, but my cart is empty?
We use cookies to keep track of the
items you add to your Cart. If, after adding an item, you receive the message "Your
shopping cart is currently empty," you probably have cookies turned off on
your Internet browser. Check your Internet
browser's "Option" or "Preferences" link to be sure cookies
are enabled. Cookies make the Cart work.
Logging into or out of “My Account” can
also cause items to disappear from your Cart. For example, if you create a list
of items in your Cart, but you are not logged on to your SelfMadeEasy.com account,
that list will be replaced by your account-specific Cart when you do log in. If you have an account with SelfMadeEasy.com,
make sure to login before adding items to your cart.
Another reason for technical trouble is
"cookie-trimming," or file utility software. Cookies are necessary
for buying items from the internet and making your Cart work efficiently.
Programs such as WebFree, Guard Dog, Cookie Cutter, Cookie Monster, Junkbuster,
Watchdog, as well as certain browsers, can suppress cookies. If you have any of these software running,
please adjust their settings accordingly.
